Valérie Barrow’s husband John passed on Friday 9 August, 2024. He was surrounded by his two sons and Valérie’s family. John Barrow passed comfortably, in peace. A memorial service will be held in a few weeks.
John Barrow had been in residential care for a little over two years. He was prone to falls, and Valérie was unable to provide care, and could not hear John whenever he fell, downstairs.

Over the last 40 years, this chronicle of events has bonded our minds, bodies and souls to an astonishingly profound degree.
Valérie has probably been an enlightened soul from birth or soon thereafter and has, as a consequence, developed extraordinary psychic powers and healing skills over the past forty years – a truly enlightened soul.
Unfortunately, I cannot claim the same track record. Until I first met Valérie in 1976, I was a spiritual mess, with my soul well and truly entrenched in my lower chakra. The only spirit I knew was generally poured from a bottle.
From the time I first met Valérie, my whole physical and spirital being has been lifted from darkness into light and my consciousness has been elevated to a level that hopefully allows me to call Valérie my true soulmate.
John was a great story teller, and as the reincarnation of Charles Dickens, always delighted his hearers with his stories. Valérie used to keep a notebook handy, whenever John told a new story.
